Arya POV: King’s Landing Sucks.

June 1, 2012 in Game Of Thrones, House Stark by Arya Stark

Father had been fighting with the council again… I could see it on his face Then Jory asked him about the tourney, they said people from all over the realm would come to joust in honor of my Father’s appointment. How could he be excited for that? Sansa was, she gave father a look like he was a mad man she he told us it was a pain for him, not an honor. She asked him to go, Septa Mordane made him see reason, because Sansa thought it was a good idea. He agreed, but he didn’t seem happy about

The Great Tourney at Harrenhal: Day One

May 28, 2012 in Fan-Fic, House Stark by Lyanna Stark

The entire time they rode on the Kingsroad, she wanted to get away from them. Brandon spent the past two days telling Ned everything he could about how great he was. Of how he should come back to Winterfell while their father was absent because he would see how smoothly he could run things, he was so wonderful. To spare her ears the torture of listening she’d have a coughing fit, or yawn unnecessarily loudly.  Brandon would forget what he was talking about and Ned sometimes manage to say something. She led her horse slowly from the road hoping she’d

The Man Who Would Be Prince

March 12, 2012 in Game Of Thrones, House Stark by Theon Greyjoy Y

Am I your brother, now and always? The words ran through my head like a tide crashing against a rock face, or perhaps that was the 8th skin of ale I had downed since Robb Stark’s inauguration. The King in The North. Heh, who would have thought the boy I grew up playing “enter the castle” with would be known as the first Northern King since Torrhen Stark himself. I should be pleased, what am I saying, I am pleased – aren’t I? After all, it was I who first pledged my support after the Greatjon called for it. Robb, no, “his grace” doesn’t

You Owe Him Nothing…. (Thread)

February 29, 2012 in Game Of Thrones, House Stark by Ned Stark Y

Ned Stark: (is laying in bed with his wife, holding her close) “Caitlin, I am a man of the North. I have no desire whatever to be separated from you to live among the filth of King’s Landing.” Cateyn Stark: *Laying comfortably in my husbands arms. We have spent time making love. Feeling over whelmed with love and protection, I say to him* “I won’t let him take you. I could never just watch him take you from me, from your home, here.” Ned Stark: (says sincerely) “Caitlin, you were amazing, dear.” (kisses her softly) “Now Robert, he be like a brother to me,

They Tell Me Nothing…..

February 25, 2012 in Game Of Thrones, House Stark by Ned Stark Y

It’s Sunday morning, and I’m at Godswood — a place of peace; a place of solitude; a place of prayerful reflection. Oh how I will miss thee. I am all packed, as are the girls, ready for our journey to King’s Landing — away from this place, away from my sons, and away from her. Catelyn was meant for my brother Brandon, a match made to join the houses of Stark and Tully. She loved him; I loved him; and we mourned his death to the crazy old Targaryen king together. To join the houses, she married me instead. Although not

He Has My Blood….. (Thread)

February 25, 2012 in Game Of Thrones, House Stark, Jon Snow by Ned Stark Y

Ned Stark: I am anxiously waiting for his son Jon to arrive…. The boy is late again. <pacing back and forth across the study>

Jon Snow: < This is a bit unusual for my father to summon me like this. I walk into the castle and find my way to his study, and slowly open the door> *peers in* “You’ve called for me father?”

Ned Stark: <says with forlorn voice> “Yes, Jon. Sit down, son.” <holds chair for him… once Jon is seated, seats himself> “Jon, I need to know. How has Caitlyn been treating you?” <suspects he knows what answer will come and shores self>

Wyla….

Robert Baratheon: *I just finish taking a piss on a cool southern day, the sun shining, the wind rustling through the tress, birds chirping and all. It makes memories flood back to me, when it was just myself and Nedd Starky off at war. I walk over to the table that we are taking a break at, and take my seat* “Nedd, what do you say we leave this riff raff of an escort, and make our way to King’s Landing by ourselves, just as it was in the good old days? Tell me Nedd, do you not miss them? The

Lyanna, The Sun Shines Above Her….. (Thread)

February 25, 2012 in Game Of Thrones, House Stark by Ned Stark Y

Robert Baratheon: *I walk with Nedd Starky down to the crypts to pay my respects to Lyanna… It’s been ten years since I’ve seen her likeness carved into the stone, and I’m somewhat nervous. It doesn’t even matter that I’m full of alcohol, I feel every emotion just thinking about her. Ten years I’ve tried to drown that memory, and I’ve failed miserably. I’m also nervous about informing him of his new position within the kingdom. At least the wine works with that situation…* “Ned, as you well know, Jon Arryn is no longer with us… As much as I loved

Tommen and Rickon’s drawing.

February 24, 2012 in House Stark, Threading by Tommen

Tommen Baratheon: ~It’s been so nice here at Winterfell because I got to play with Bran and Rickon. But it’s so sad Bran fell, now he can’t come back with us. Where we could play all the time~*sketches on a sheet of parchment a picture of him, and Uncle Jaime in a field of flowers with kittens, a rainbow and a huge smiling sun.* Rickon Stark: *sees Tommen is drawing and wants to too.* What are you drawing? I want to help, may I? Tommen Baratheon: *smiles and nods* I want to draw a nice picture for Uncle Jaime. He

Today father took Bran to see what we do to deserters of the Night’s Watch. I wish he would of taken me, I’m older than Bran and I wouldn’t be afraid at all. Mother says ladies don’t need to see things like that. Who cares if it’s what ladies do? I still want to see it, I hear everyone talking about what happens, what’s the difference except that it’s more exciting to see it happen. On their way home from what my brothers said, there was a direwolf dead in the forest. So I missed two incredibly not boring things
