Barristan Selmy, the newly appointed squire for Lord Manfred Swann, always had high hopes of attaining knighthood.  It was the one thing that he always wanted.  He needed some way to get recognized.  Entering a jousting tournament sounded like a great idea at the time.  All he needed to do was win a match or two, and surely everything else would fall into place. He lay in his luxurious tent, unable to sleep.  It had been a long day full of close calls and landslide victories, but he made it.  Tomorrow he would face Prince Duncan the Small in the final round of the tournament.
