Father scares me sometimes. He’s so big and gets angry a lot. It makes me sad he’s not more like mother. Mother is very kind and nice. She’s always so happy when I listen and do everything she tells me what to do. It makes her smile, and that makes me happy because I like when she smiles.

I would like Joffrey if he were nice. I used to think all brothers were like Joffrey until we came to Winterfell. None of the Stark brothers are mean like he is. Mother always tells me to stay out of his way. He doesn’t take my toys or break them, because he doesn’t really care or want them. ( and he knows I’d tell mother.) But he makes me cry when he yells at servents. It makes me sad that he’s mean. He’s going to be king, and a good king is like a knight, brave and kind…Well Father is a good king, i think, and he isn’t too much like a knight….

Myrcella is always nice. But she is a girl, and a princess so mother says she can’t play maidens and monsters or knights because she might get hurt. I wouldn’t hurt my sister, I love her so much. She’s always so nice. Once I ripped my cloak while I was playing with one of the wild cats in the Red Keep. She fixed it so I wouldn’t have to tell mother. She wasn’t too happy the last time I ripped it…

I have four uncles and a cousin. I’ve never seen my cousin, my father doesn’t like my Uncle Stannis as much as mother likes her brothers. Uncle Renly is on father’s council, so at least he likes one of his brothers. I hope when Joffrey is king, he’ll let me help.

Uncle Jaime must like my father a lot. He killed the Mad King because he’s so brave and strong. He’s even in father’s Kingsguard. He helped father get the throne, he knew he would be a better king than the mad king. I don’t think it’s bad he killed him. He was a bad king, and even mother says he did the right thing. Mothers don’t lie.

My other uncle Tyrion is as tall as I am! When I’m grown up I’ll feel sad, because I’ll have to remember when I was little he was taller than me but he can’t grow anymore. He’s really smart, he reads a lot, and he’s always nice to us. Even Joffrey. He tells us funny stories and jokes. Sometimes mother doesn’t like them, but I know she loves him.
